Our process

step 1: moodboard and concept planning

Moodboard + Concept Planning

We collaborate with you on a moodboard to pinpoint the intended feeling and aesthetic of your vision. Moodboards can have references for poses, styling and wardrobe, lighting, and overall feel. Our experience with different types of film stocks and lighting options can create a certain color and tone of the photos.

step 2: shoot day

Shoot Day

We believe in the magic and raw beauty of film photography and wish to capture you, as is. We love to capture your authenticity but are happy to guide you in posing as well! Each shot is intentional because of the limited nature of film- but we also love to capture fleeting moments. Photoshoots range in time depending on how many rolls we agree to shoot. If you’d like our styling services, we can provide a themed wardrobe or props/set design to bring your full vision to life.

step 3: finished products

Finished Products

Film photography is an analog process that takes more time than digital photography usually does. After our shoot, the film has to be developed and scanned before we can see the finished product, but we strive to have your photos back to you as soon as possible. Photos will be shared digitally, with option for film negatives if you’d like to keep as a physical memory of the photoshoot.
