Amica
Hiya! My name is Amica (she/her) and I am one half of as*is. I discovered film photography in 2020 with a disposable camera on a roadtrip and fell in love with the instant nostalgia and warmth of film. Many years and cameras later, I still love to travel and photograph! I gravitate towards capturing fluid + candid movement, shadows, and street photography. Chloe and I have been shooting film together since 2022 and have teamed up to make our photography and styling dreams come true with as*is, and we hope to be partners in your creative journey as well! Chloe
Hello! I’m Chloe (she/her). I’ve loved visual storytelling and documenting life for as long as I can remember. I picked up my family’s camcorder when I was 8 years old and never stopped. Since then, I’ve strived to create art as often as possible by combining my love for visual documentation, music, and fashion. I started shooting film in college, as I was completing a minor in photography. Working in the darkroom to develop my own photos gave me a new sense of appreciation for the craft. I am inherently nostalgic and that is what fuels my desire to capture moments.
